How Is The Economy Outlook For The Next Ten Years Or Now For Farmers?

I was under the impression for somereason that farmers economy wasn’t as crapy as the rest of the country’s right now. Am i wrong?

    Farming is usually risky, being so dependent upon the weather (for one). But farmers grow things that are in demand. They usually operate under a low profit margin (the machinery and the fertilizer can cost mucho dolares), which means they are often in debt. They also work ridiculously long hours, and it is always hard work.
    Smart farmers are savvy about current trends. For instance if I was a farmer I’d be growing various weeds that make good bio fuels.
    The picture for 3d world farmers is much bleaker.
    Thanks to free trade, American rice is cheaper for consumers in Haiti than Haitian rice is. This is an injustice that needs to be addressed.
