Is It Constitutional For The Government To Interfere With The Economy?

What does the Constitution say about the government’s role on the economy? For example bailouts. Would it be considered socialist? Isn’t the point of the free market for everyone to be independent weather they are successful or not?

    No.
Check out the 10th amendment. For all who cite the ‘welfare’ clause, if that was blanket approval for whatever government deemed good, what does the 10th amendment MEAN?
