I have answered a similar question from you some months ago and also I have answered on yesterday from another Asker.
Please allow me to repeat similar response, as follows:
I congratulate you for the brave decision to start your own business. We started with a modest amount of Taka 150,000/- back in he year 1991 when US$ to Taka rate was about Tk. 38 which is now about Tk. 68.
If you want to start a business in collaboration with any MNC or Internet Service Providers and their special packages then with US$3000 plus some Bank Loan may raise your stake a bit higher if you invest in any ‘project’ in the rural areas where people are not getting such advanced I.T. Services.
You may talk with Grameen Phone or Grameen CyberNet and such organization to see if your effort could supplement their outreach programme. This is because with a small sum of money you can hardly cover monthly establishment expenses if you want to set up your business in Dhaka city.
This is my gut feeling and do not hesitate to try your luck in Dhaka with any of the items those people are paying money to get.
