All the Scandinavian countries have a strong economy. I guess Norway has the strongest due to it´s oil, but it´s also one of the most expensive countries in the world. The political status is very stable in all the Scandinavian countries. About the most powerful military I don´t know, only Norway is a member of NATO as far as I know. All the countries are however neutral countries, although Finland has to work a little bit harder to have good contacts with Putin, as Finland was attacked by the Soviet Union during the II World War and is a neighbour of Russia. (By the way Finland is the only country in the world that has paid it´s debts caused by the war.) Sweden has big companies as Volvo and SonyEricsson, Finland has Nokia and a worldwide forest industry. Finland has the best schools in the world! About Iceland, although being a small country with about 280.000 people, they have a strong economy, it´s just incredible actually, but it´s also a very expensive country. About Denmark, a very nice country with a good economy. Actually all the Scandinavian countries have a good economy and the Scandinavian people live quite well. I don´t think Scandinavia has so much influence in the world. Scandinavia is a nice, peaceful corner of the world! (To the person who said that Finland is not a Scandinavian country, take a look at the map of northern Europe, Scandinavia.) Welcome to Scandinavia!

The European Union decided last year that they were going to model their government after Denmark’s. I’d say that is pretty influencial.
Plus, Danish people are the happiest on Earth.http://www.2sidesmagazine.com/PoliticalB…

Norway is strongest economically. Finland has the best education system. The most influential is probably Norway or Sweden. I have no idea which one has the strongest military.

As a Finnish I can say even tough everything works here in Finland (schools, hospitals, social security etc.) for a foreigner living in Scandinavia Sweden is probably the best.
In other Scandinavian countries you may experience some racism for not speaking the language, or if you are not white. Sad but true…
But on the other hand, if you move to Finland to work with your family, most people will treat you very well as we don’t have that many foreigners. People will be interested about you and your country.
Needless to say, all Scandinavian countries are very good and safe places to live!

Norway has the best economy. Finland may have the most powerful military (not sure of this one). Sweden is the most influential and Finland has the best schools (in the whole world, too).

Norway best economy and political stability, not a member of the european union but is a member of nato, the only one i think. sweden has problems, norway has passed sweden in BNP. denmark are quite neutral although they get much more international attention than any other scandinavian country. and finland has nokia. altougheter i think there aint a big diff beetween the countries.
