Why Does It Seem Like The Republicans Are Blaming Obama For The Economic Recession?

We didn’t get in this mess from a president who has been in office for less than a month. We got into this from previous regimes and their policies.

The Republicans continue to practice revisionist history. They make the mess and it takes a Democrat to clean it up. Regan spent us into a 5+ year recession that took Clinton to get us out of. Bush spent the world into a Depression that Obama will have to get us out of. All the time they say they are the fiscally responsible party. One more tax cut and a deregulation for the rich and everything will be Ok. Praise the Lord and pass the Ammunition!

i don’t think they are blaming Obama..I listened to some of the speeches or whatever they are called in the Senate yesterday and the vast majority of the Rep. Senators did say they blame Bush for our economy, but with that being said they also went on to say why make it worse by voting for a package that isn’t going to do much right away and why the insistence of voting for it asap, why not sit down and give themselves time to come up with something that may work better…oh I know why..because then they (Dem’s) can slip a lot of pork in the bill and let it pass quickly.

Because more than a majority of America are southern ignorant incest hillbillies, who thinks McCain is still a war hero. McCain sold out America, and Obama is a radicalist who will glue America back together. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a racist or is to stupid and close minded to accept that we have a black president. I bet you illiterate hillbillies still think that Bush did a good thing by putting terrorists into captivity, when really he violated the constitution so severely that we mine as well become a dictatorship. Bush did more illegal things then every president combined since George Washington. So you republican scum can shove your hatred of Obama down your throats for he is going to bring back the recognition and reputation of being a president.

I assume you are young. No sense in telling you what your future will be like as a result of this bill and the trillions that will be added to our debt. I’m old and have lived through these kinds of things. What he has done is a quick fix that will result in a long term stagnation and a sad future for my children and grand children mostly in the name of Obama being able to pass his whole agenda without debate in the house between the parties. These idiots didn’t even demand enough time to actually read the bill they voted on. I equate their stupidity with the rush to go to war in Iraq.

Both parties have their pet projects
With the Republicans it was the WAR on TERROR
With the Democrats it was the War on Poverty
But in reality the US is its own worse enemy as we should
all do better and elect a government who is not PRO WAR
    and Pro Socialism either
I think we have been given a taste of both and it is making us SICK

They’re not, but they seem to understand that President Obama’s plan of continuing Bush’s economic policies (the policies that, according to you, got us into this) won’t help, as they’ve failed before. Funny thing, history.

Not blaming him for the mess now, but for his future big mess he has created. Sort of looks like the top officials in every thing are trying to fill their coffers before they depart office or country. As far as my vote goes, they will have to leave.

The two parties spend most of their time blaming each other and working against each other. Until they’re voted out of office things will only get worse.

We live in wreckage of the past brewing for over twenty years, created
by all of D.C. No one man will or can clean it up, He has to go along with the rest of D.C. parade.

The best defense of their failed policies is the offense of blaming Obama.
